Cancellations

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR: K’GARI 2-DAY TOUR (EX-HERVEY BAY OR RAINBOW BEACH) | FRASER EXPLORER PREMIUM TOUR EX-HERVEY

BAY | FRASER EXPLORER DAY TOUR (EX-HERVEY BAY OR RAINBOW BEACH) | FRASER EXPLORER 2-DAY TOUR (EX-HERVEY BAY OR RAINBOW BEACH)

Bookings cancelled more than 48 hrs prior to departure will incur no cancellation fee.

Bookings cancelled between 24 – 48 hrs prior to departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Bookings cancelled less than 24 hrs prior to departure or failure to board the tour will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Non utilised tour components will not be refunded

Travel Policies

Under 18 Travellers Policy:

All travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Child Rates Policy:

Infants: 1-3 years (inclusive). Infants under the age of 1 year are unable to travel on 4WD coach tours.
Children: 4-14 years (inclusive)
Qld law states that all passengers must be suitably restrained including infants. Regulations do not allow infants to be nursed during a tour.
Booster seats are required, if guests are unable to supply their own, K’gari Explorer Tours can assist. Please request at the time of booking.

Transfers:

K’gari Explorer Tours reserves the right to alternate passenger transfer services within the marine fleet.
Schedule of services may alter subject to the operational structure changes
K’gari Explorer Tours reserves the right to offer alternate land transfer service options.

Baggage policy:

Due to Workplace Health & Safety requirements, the maximum acceptable weight for any single piece of luggage is 25 kgs.
Bags weighing 20+ kgs will be tagged to indicate heavy luggage and that care must be taken when handling.
Each guest may check-in free of charge, two (2) items of luggage. Each item must not weigh more than 25 kgs.
Additional items to be checked-in will incur a handling fee of $10.00 per item.
If guests are required to pack down luggage over 25 kgs, bags are available for sale from Kingfisher Bay Resort Mainland Reception.
If guests refuse to pack down or pay excess charges, they will be required to carry their own luggage at all transport points: on and off boats, along jetty, to accommodation and repeated at the time of departure.
